9/4 Your Love Letter:

Trust the timing.

Today, I want you to not over think, not over analyze, not figure it out before it’s even happened! I know it’s hard for you to just let things go sometimes but when we let life happen it surprises us in a way we would never have imagined.

The thing about surprises is they are not always good. You can be surprised with something happy or something sad. It’s your choice how you react to it. It’s your choice on how it affects you. Obviously when it’s a happy surprise that can definitely be easier (unless you’re not a fan of surprises altogether!) But regardless of what kind of surprise it may be, give yourself time. Let it in. Trust it.

The other day I was thinking about timing. I found myself going through all kinds of different emotions but at the end I was happy. I wasn’t happy because of what I was thinking about but more so because I have worked really hard at accepting timing. Accepting surprises. Letting life happen and not driving myself crazy trying to control it. After I sat with myself for a minute words came to my head and I wrote this:

Taken in. Taking in. Taken.
An unpredictable ride over and under through an immeasurable amount of darkness. How quickly one finds that the brightest of light too fades.

Taken in. Taking in. Taken.
A whirlwind of life with more than just calendar days behind to prove how simply, quite beautifully destiny finds you.

Taken in. Taking in. Taken.
A fantastical ride over and under through an immeasurable amount of patience. How quickly one finds that the brightest of light still remains.

Today, accept life. Let go. Trust your timing.

Love always,
